The innovation, accuracy and urgency required to deliver successful Formula 1 programs led to the diversification and delivery of numerous highly successful motorsport projects across the world. Swindon Powertrain was therefore selected to partner with a range of premium OEMs, delivering numerous successful projects, including the cylinder head design and manufacture for the Mini JCW. Having conducted extensive R&D in vehicle electrification, Swindon Powertrain now offers market leading EV powertrains, products, and services to OEM’s, vehicle specialists and enthusiasts. Conceived to support our motorsport programs, our electrical manufacturing team of certified IPC technicians and high voltage operators specialise in the design and manufacture of high-quality customised wiring harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies and bespoke build-to-prints. Our dedicated test cells are equipped to offer a comprehensive range of services for internal combustion engines and electric propulsion systems. Swindon Powertrain has been chosen as the official electric powertrain technology supplier to Hemmels, a leading specialist in Mercedes Pagodas, expertly blending classic elegance and cutting-edge engineering, allowing this classic icon to transcend into a modern luxury vehicle while preserving its timeless vintage allure.
